Jon Low is dedicated to the field of personal growth for professional success, interpersonal satisfaction … and any other experience a human being would like that can be initiated and maintained by self. His work is seriously juicy stuff, yet equally light and fun!!
Jon’s clients have achieved results both little and large. From; successfully securing scholarships to build billion dollar businesses in Silicon Valley, to finally finding that beloved partner they have sincerely sought. But how the result looks materially, is not the focus. The important thing is it is feels true for the person. It is a form success they feel good about.
With Jon’s 13 year+ exploration of human potential (Performance Psychology, Eastern Philosophies, and Martial Arts), combined with analytical and system thinking from his consulting experience (B.Comm/B.Eng Honors), he brings a distinct space and flavor to personal change. Rather than using excessive force to defeat, overcome and crush yourself to get the change you want, Jon looks for the smallest of changes that facilitate the fullest results.
Often, human beings find themselves at odds with what goes on in their lives. Many think that in order to get something new, they must lose something equally valuable …
“No pain no gain.” “Success means sacrifice.” “Nothing worth it comes by easy.” You may have heard these before. And subsequently, the many transformational models promote the use of willpower; “getting over your own sh*t” and “Manning up!” so to speak.
It has it’s uses. But not here. Not with the work Jon is presenting.
Courage is not finding the strength to overcome yourself. Courage is finding the heart to reconcile the parts within that are at war. That means saying “okay” to all your life’s experience with deep respect, and making new choices thereon.
Instead of applying unworkable attempts of trying to win an arm wrestle with self–Jon strongly promotes the unification of many aspects of self. So when you are no longer at odds with self, then the many parts of self can support the direction you want to take in life.
The philosophy is simple. It involves a deep appreciation and respect for what is present (the state of being at peace with the present state of your life), and a full embracing of a human being’s desire to pioneer new experiences in their precious art-form called Life.
The Big Question
“What would you like … truly from the heart?” That’s one of the hardest questions to answer. It begets numerous other questions like; Can I afford it? What am I capable of having? What will people think? Is it okay for me to want that? What if I fail? It can get complicated.
So as you explore the material Jon has to offer, you will go on a journey to answer some of the most challenging questions that life can present
- What do you want? (truly … from the heart)
- How is it you do not have what you want?
- How is it you can finally have what you want?
Is This Style of Work Right for You?
Deep inside, you know if this is right for you. You will feel drawn to the integrity of the work. It either calls its participants clearly, or it remains unheard. If this is speaking to you, welcome.

The Marin-Style Body of Change Work underpins the personal change work shared in this forum. For this body of work, we honor our predecessors; Carl Buchheit (Co-founder of NLP Marin and Lead Trainer), Bob Hoffmeyer (Co-founder of NLP Marin) its forefather Jonathan Rice (PhD Clinical and Counselling Psychology), and its many loving teachers, trainers, facilitators and affiliates.
Its significance cannot be overstated.
What Sir Isaac Newton brought to the understanding of celestial motion, our predecessors have brought to the understanding of personal, interpersonal and professional transformation.
Aside from enabling the practitioner to truly understand the complex mechanics of how human beings create their experience, and can create the new experiences they want – the Marin-Style of change work respects the many dimensions of a human being’s unique journey called Life.
Like gravity, it’s always there in motion, governing the many motions of man.
While this body of work is lesser known overtly, decades from now, humanity will look back to its archives and recognize how significant a contribution the Marin-Style body of change work has to the understanding that humanity has of itself, and Life itself.
