Read this if you earn a living by selling your personal brand.
Clarity – the key benefit that many of my personal branding clients value me for whether that’s to help; create their copy, ghost write a written piece, or purely stay on a phone conversation for 2 hours to help them crystallize their messages.
But what does clarity even mean?
I looked it up on google and found a beautiful starting point for the word…
“Clarity is the state of being expressed, understood and remembered.”
And messages that get remembered, have the potential to influence many lives. Having the option to influence the lives around you in a way you want to, can show up as any one or more of the following benefits:
- Deepened relationships.
- More money.
- Attract the right people you want in your life.
- Decreased stress levels.
- Increased personal and professional satisfaction.
More importantly – legacy.
What’s your message to the world?
Whether you are in business for yourself or not, what is it you would like to share and say to express yourself?…
…what is it that you would like people to understand about you?
And to push your thinking – if you were to write your own epitaph, what is it you would like to be remembered for long after you are gone?
Pause. Think about it. Give it some serious thought before reading on.
In business – if you are building a personal brand, who are the people you are calling out to?
What is the emotional experience your product or service delivers to the market?…
…what is it that makes you so special and unique that people just keep coming back for more?
Pause. Think about it. Give it some thought before reading on.
If you can get clear on all the above, you will know exactly who you are speaking to, what they need from you, and the benefits you can deliver to them.
And that calling will be more easily heard, understood and remembered.
I probably don’t need to tell you what that might mean for your business in terms of; sales, repeat business and brand consolidation.
But I will – growth my friend. It’ll help your business grow in every aspect you can think of.
So when clients tell me how “clear” I help them get, I now know how much of an impact I have on their businesses and lives.
Clarity Gives You Access to More Influence. And Influence Helps You Get Results.
But here’s the thing – getting clear is much easier said than done. It requires a high degree of self-awareness and observation. To see what is behind your eyes. To perceive what is below the surface. To know what it is that people value you for.
To know exactly how people experience you.
The ability to do all that doesn’t come over night. In fact, it comes over a decade of consistently developing self and fine-tuning your skills of observation. And to a very large extent – your intuition.
In the meantime, if clarity is something you want to achieve in a short-period of time, then it’s probably best you find someone who can “perfectly mirror” what it is you want to say. Someone who can help you clarify, crystallize, and communicate your message.
